We Offer Line Painting in Toronto and Pavement Markings for Parking Lots, Warehouses, Parking Garages, Playgrounds and Sports Facilities
Pavement markings provide guidance and information to drivers and pedestrians without diverting their attention from the road. Markings may be used as the sole source of guidance, or to supplement other traffic control devices such as signs, signals and other markings. In a parking lot, most pavement markings are done using fast drying traffic paint that is sprayed onto the asphalt using specialized equipment that atomizes the paint and installs reflective glass beads. We generally refer to this process as line painting. (See our FAQ for more info on traffic paint)

Getting ready for striping and markings
In order to apply striping and markings in top quality form the area needs to be clean and free from debris and dust. This service is a must and is covered in more detail in ourPower Sweepingarea. In order to guarantee adhesion and sharp markings, the surfaces should be clean and debris free. Removal of previous markings is essential if there is to be a layout change and we are unable to directly paint over them. There may be areas that have had bubbling (warping or bulging) or maybe pot holes and/or cracks have appeared that need attention. These areas need to be repaired before final cleaning and prep for striping and other surface marking application.
Getting striping and markings right
We follow the legal guidelines of the Ontario Traffic Control Manual, Book 7 and 11, as well as ADA Regulation. Construction and paving contractors rely on us for consultation, layout and painting of lines and all kinds of markings. Property owners and managers rely on us for re-striping, layout, black out or pavement reductions, extensions and markings that may be needed - no matter the size of the project, we will guarantee that the the best materials are used to satisfy both the compliance requirements and for the longest lasting finish possible.
Pavement marking is a highly regulated service and when not done properly can be a safety and liability issue for property owners. Many line painting companies use incorrect products and don't fully adhere to the standards set out by the transportation ministry. Make sure you hire the right contractor with a proper understanding of the rules and materials involved.
And of course an onsite consultation will always be free.
